is there a magical button that i can push to start my game? i haven't used the official gamemaker, so i dont know keyboard shortcuts..

LateralGM itself is just a development environment and cannot run a game.

There are currently (incomplete) two compilers for it, though, ENIGMA, and Dolphin (aka G-Java).

Are you [trying to use] one of these?
