Fonts are the most useless resource ever. There should be like a make_font(family, size, style) function or something.

There is. font_add, font_replace, and font_add_sprite, along with the cleanup function font_delete.

Yeah but then they're still there hogging resources when you don't need them. I meant like draw_set_font(make_font(...));

That's a GM/ENIGMA issue, not a LGM one.
